Hoi An (6 nights)

Ancient charm, colourful streets & authentic experiences

Our Vietnam journey begins in beautiful Hoi An, a UNESCO World Heritage-listed town where time appears to have stood still. With its glowing lanterns, charming old streets, riverside restaurants and welcoming locals, Hoi An is a place that invites you to slow down and enjoy every moment.

We’ll spend six wonderful nights here, allowing plenty of time to truly experience the magic of this special place.

One of the highlights will be exploring Hoi An like a local, travelling by motorcycle through the countryside. Don't worry—you won't be driving! Sit back and enjoy the adventure as we discover the surrounding rice paddies, lotus fields and hidden corners of rural Vietnam.

Food is a huge part of the Hoi An experience, and you'll have the opportunity to enjoy delicious meals in beautiful settings overlooking the river, take part in a hands-on Vietnamese cooking class, and even travel by boat to our open-air cooking school where you'll create (and enjoy!) your own authentic dishes.

You’ll also have the chance to create something special to bring home with a lantern-making class hosted by the wonderful Lantern Lady, learning traditional techniques passed down through generations.

One of the most memorable experiences of our stay will be sharing a meal at our local guide’s home. Their warm hospitality, incredible food and willingness to share stories about their lives and culture is something our guests treasure long after returning home.

We’ll also visit a local children’s charity and learn how dedicated teachers and volunteers are helping to create brighter futures for disadvantaged children in the community.

Beyond the organised experiences, there is plenty of time to simply enjoy Hoi An. Wander through the old town, browse local markets, relax by the pool at our beautiful boutique resort, indulge in a massage, or enjoy some shopping—including the opportunity to have beautiful garments created by a talented local tailor within just 48 hours.

For those who enjoy photography, there is also an optional early morning lesson at the local fish market, where you’ll learn how to capture incredible images using your phone.

The beauty of Hoi An is that you can choose your own pace. With us, there is no rushing from one attraction to another—we blend wonderful local experiences with plenty of time to relax and enjoy this magical destination.

But sadly, all good things must come to an end, and our next adventure awaits as we fly south to the exciting city of Ho Chi Minh City.

The Forget-me-not Difference

Vietnam is a destination full of incredible sights, but the moments we remember most are often the simple ones—the shared laughs over a delicious meal, the conversations with local people, the unexpected discoveries and the friendships formed along the way.

Our small-group journeys are designed to give you the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation. We take care of the details, so you can simply enjoy the experience, knowing you are travelling with a group of wonderful women who love discovering the world.

Your home away from home

Carefully selected accommodation

Where we stay is an important part of the Forget-me-not Holidays experience. We carefully choose boutique hotels and resorts that offer comfort, character and a welcoming atmosphere, while also being in locations that allow you to easily experience each destination.

In Vietnam, our accommodation has been thoughtfully selected to complement the journey—places where you can relax after a day of exploring, enjoy beautiful surroundings and feel connected to the destination. From a peaceful boutique retreat in Hoi An to a comfortable city stay in Ho Chi Minh City, each hotel has been chosen not only for its quality, but for the experience it adds to your holiday.

Because we believe travel is about more than simply seeing a destination—it’s about how you feel while you are there.

Ho Chi Minh City (3 nights)

History, hidden stories & the heartbeat of modern Vietnam

Formerly known as Saigon, Ho Chi Minh City is a fascinating contrast of old and new. It is a city of millions of motorcycles, incredible street food, historic landmarks and fascinating people going about their daily lives.

During our stay, you’ll have the opportunity to discover another side of Vietnam with an optional visit to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels. Travelling in style by luxury speedboat along the Saigon River, we’ll journey into the countryside to learn about the incredible history of this underground network and the resourcefulness of those who lived there during the Vietnam War.

The day is about more than history though—it’s about experiencing local life, enjoying a delicious Vietnamese lunch and watching the rhythm of life unfold along the busy working river.

As evening arrives, we’ll experience the magic of Saigon by night, travelling through the city by traditional cyclo (rickshaw). Relax as you take in the sights, sounds and energy of this incredible city, with plenty of opportunities for photos along the way.

Of course, there will also be time for shopping! Explore colourful markets and impressive shopping centers where you can search for everything from local treasures to beautiful gifts and souvenirs.

For those interested in learning more about Vietnam’s history, there is also the option to visit the War Remnants Museum.

After breakfast on our final morning, it’s time to say farewell to Vietnam, taking home wonderful memories, new friendships and stories to share.
