Tokyo – Tradition Meets Modern Life (4 nights)

Your Japanese adventure begins in Tokyo, one of the world's most exciting cities.

We'll explore the historic Asakusa district, visit the magnificent Senso-ji Temple and wander the colourful Nakamise shopping street. You'll also have the opportunity to learn the traditional art of Kiriko glass engraving and create a beautiful souvenir to take home.

We'll visit the Imperial Palace gardens and enjoy a fascinating introduction to Japan's national sport with a sumo experience and traditional Japanese lunch.

Of course the restaurants and shopping malls will be a highlight of our time here.

Kyoto – The Heart of Traditional Japan (2 nights)

Travelling by bullet train, we'll journey to Kyoto, a city famous for its temples, shrines and timeless beauty.
Walk through the enchanting Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, cross the famous Togetsu Bridge and experience the breathtaking red torii gates of Fushimi Inari Shrine.

We'll browse the bustling Nishiki Market before stepping back in time for a traditional tea ceremony while dressed in a beautiful kimono.

You'll quickly understand why Kyoto is considered the cultural heart of Japan.

Nara & Osaka (3 nights)

Our journey continues to Nara, home to hundreds of friendly free-roaming deer and some of Japan's most significant historical sites.

In Osaka we'll discover a city known for its vibrant atmosphere, exceptional food and welcoming locals.

Highlights include Osaka Castle, a hands-on sushi-making class, exploring the colourful Dotonbori district and visiting local markets filled with delicious Japanese specialties.

We'll also enjoy a sake brewery experience where you'll learn about one of Japan's most famous traditions.
