What’s the average group size and how challenging are the trips?
Forget-me-not Holidays offer small-groups holidays in groups of women. Our guests are just like you; fun and curious, and interested in developing friendships with other like-minded women. Our holidays are designed with your well-being in mind; we’re not so much into monuments and temples, more fun activities, generally in the mornings with relaxed free afternoons poolside, or wandering. You decide.
Can I stay longer or arrive early?
Certainly, you are welcome to organise this with your travel agent. We can provide details of accommodation and tour timings to assist you.
Are all tours ‘guaranteed’ to proceed?
Once you have initially ‘registered your interest’ for your preferred tour, you will be tentatively booked in. We generally require a minimum of 4 people for the holiday to proceed. We will keep in touch and advise you if anything changes.
What are the payment conditions?
A deposit of $500 is required on completion of your Booking Form and acceptance of our Terms and Conditions. The balance will be required to be paid 2 months prior to travel. If the intended tour is cancelled, for any reason, including our minimum number of participants not being met, your deposit will be fully refunded.
How do I book?
Simply Contact Us through our main General Enquiry Form. We will also send you our full Terms and Conditions and our main Booking Form for you to complete and return. Perhaps phone and chat with us and see if we’re the right fit for you.
How do I pay you the initial deposit amount and then the full amount?
That’s easy, for both payments we will issue you an invoice so you’ll know exactly the amount to pay. In addition, we take payments through online banking (we will provide you with our bank account details) and also we use PayPal for those wanting to pay by credit card (additional fee applies). Simply let us know your preferred method of payment and we will guide you accordingly.
Do you arrange the flights for the tour?
Flights to Vietnam are to be booked and arranged by yourself. We can happily provide a referral to a knowledgeable travel broker. We will provide all the key flight and date requirements for you to take to your selected travel agent. This allows each individual person to tailor their flight requirements, as many like to arrive or stay on later, after the actual 10 day holiday.
Where will I eat?
The food is simply divine in Vietnam. It’s fresh and cheap and we would encourage you to try as many different restaurants as possible. Some nights we’ll take those who wish to, to small locally-recommended restaurants, and other evenings you can just wander into wherever takes you fancy. The hotels and resorts also have fabulous restaurants if you prefer. Special dietary requirements such as ‘gluten free’ can generally be accommodated. Either way, you won’t have to plan it, cook it, or wash up!
What is the accommodation like?
You’ll enjoy staying in 4 or 5 star hotels or resorts, beautiful and peaceful with all the luxury you would expect. We choose boutique accommodation, rather than corporate hotels where possible.
How safe is Vietnam?
Generally Vietnam is a very safe country, however, we advise guests to take sensible precautions with personal items, including consulting your doctor prior to travelling if you have any health issues.
